Week of September 30th
Viking Coins is a new program at Summerfield this year. Our students have been collecting “Viking Coins” for outstanding behavior and good deeds. Coins are saved and used to shop at The Viking Store for fun prizes. The first opportunity for students to shop and buy from the Viking Store will take place the week of September 30th. Please see the Signup Genius link here to volunteer to run the store. Thank you!
If your student was not present for the first picture day, or if you were unhappy with your original photos.
For anyone that was unhappy, a short note to the photographer about what they could have done better is helpful.
Parents may order pictures at www.strawbridge.net.

Viking family - We are so close to reaching our goal of $40,000. Our current RUN total is $38,871.49. We know that our total will likely grow through this week as well, and are sure we will reach our goal. We are so proud and thankful for your support and belief in our school and RUN fundraiser. We truly are humbled by the generous support of our families this year. Your participation in our PTA’s fundraising effort fills the gaps during these difficult budgetary times in our state and our PTA can now continue to fund our award-winning programming, free family events, learning & teaching resources and fulfill our mission to make every child’s potential a reality!
Special thanks to our RUN team who worked tirelessly on all aspects of this huge undertaking. Special thanks to our Sponsor Team & our volunteers who helped sort shirts and our RUN day volunteers. We had an incredible, dedicated group help this year with RUN. RUN would not have been such a huge success without Amy Teoh, our RUN Chair, & Joann Entrikin, our Ways & Means Chair. Their tireless effort and love for our school is truly appreciated!
It is such a proud moment in our school year - coming together to support our students, staff & school. THANK YOU!
Thank you to those businesses who have signed up as sponsors!
