Student Early Dismissal
While not required, it is very helpful if anticipated periods of absence are reported to teachers prior to the period of absence. This allows teachers to anticipate classroom interruptions.
In addition, teachers may be able to have students prepared for being dismissed early. This is very helpful if your student might be out of their normal classroom (at specials, lunch, recess, etc.) at the time of their dismissal. When possible, students may be able to have their bag packed and with them at their alternative location.
Parents can notify their student's teacher by way of an email or a note sent with their student.
